I was just reading Kent’s post on Requirements Management for the new generation.
In a slightly convoluted way he was saying that the new generation prefer to use social networking mechanisms to continuously be involved in setting the requirements on their projects, i.e. being able to add new requirements to the queue and prioritising the queue throughout the lifecycle of the project.
This is exactly the purpose of the Agile development methodologies such as SCRUM. Instead of trying to tie down all of the requirements at the start of the project get the customer and end-users involved throughout the project to refine, add, prioritise the requirements that should be implemented next.
The next step is to add the online social network to make this happen. This is exactly what e-LM.com aims to achieve.
