After a small(ish) COVID hiatus, we were delighted to bring PsodaVerse to Wellington again in May 2023.

PsodaVerse is our unique and innovative annual user community event for project management professionals. We bring our users, keynote speakers and the people behind our software together for an opportunity to network, learn, share knowledge, discuss industry trends and influence away from the daily grind.

Whether you’re a project manager, a coordinator, a viewer, or an interested bystander wanting to know how we can add value to your projects, PsodaVerse has something for you.

Key events at PsodaVerse 2023

One of the things we love to do at PsodaVerse is to have our developers meet the clients in person and discuss new releases and advances in our software.

This year we discussed Psoda Forms, Psoda Time, Transactions and new functionality within Saving tables. We gave attendees a sneak peek into what is to come on Psoda. We also reached out to our customers for their feedback on these ideas and their biggest pain points that we can work to solve in future releases.

Michelle Liles, Certified Practitioner in Managing Benefits (APMG), shared her unique insights into benefits from a Project Management perspective. She turned what could be considered a ‘bland’ topic into something to be enthusiastic about, sparking some great discussions within the team.

In Michelle’s words, “Benefits are the justification for the project; they are part of the sales pitch to the approver of what they will receive from the change, allowing them to determine that the spend is worthwhile, showing what they will get beyond a shiny new widget.”

Gareth Jolliffe, Director of Management Consulting for KPMG, shared his take on how to achieve strategic priorities through portfolio delivery. This was a fascinating discussion and a great follow on to managing benefits.

Finally, Darshika Patel, Enterprise Transformation Lead for Contact Energy, shared her experience with change management, specifically with implementing Psoda as the PPM tool amongst her team. This presentation was really helpful for attendees who want to implement Psoda, but also for anyone who is unsure how to ‘sell’ and implement change. Some great insight was shared.

PsodaVerse – meet the developers day

PsodaVerse is quite unique in the world of Project Management software.

Whereas many providers only take feedback via email or live chat (after you fight your way past a bot), our team not only answers the phone – we dedicate an entire day to spending real, one-to-one time with our clients and connecting with them on a personal level to really understand their wins, challenges and frustrations. We believe this gives us invaluable insight and is one of the ways we mould our flexible software to the end users.

How can you attend the next PsodaVerse event?

If PsodaVerse sounds like an event you would like to attend, keep an eye on our website and LinkedIn from the start of 2024 for the announcement of our next one. You can also sign up for our Newsletter to keep abreast of all of our news.
