This week we welcomed our interns Luke Hardiman and Marina Voronova to the team. Luke has joined us a developer, while Marina is a designer. Both of these wonderful students from Whitireia Polytechnic and Victoria University respectively have come to us through the phenomenally successful Summer of Tech internship programme.
Luke and Marina will be spending the summer designing and building our ideation portal.
Says Luke: “I’ve just completed my second day working for Psoda and I can tell you it’s been an awesome experience so far! I can now clearly see why Bruce says ’No day will be the same’. I am currently learning all the ins and outs of the Psoda software. Soon I will be part of the brainstorming team at Psoda on a new product, then start development bringing the idea to life.”
Marina says: “I can’t help getting more and more excited about diving deeper into project management and dealing with challenges that I am going to face along the way of creating great user experience. I am going to be involved in updating an internal user interface and making it as useful and beautiful as possible. I am hoping to gain solid knowledge about project management and get to know the users better and really looking forward to going through the design processes – market research, wire framing, user testing etc. My goal is to develop my skills in user experience and user interfaces and to contribute to creation of the magnificent tool that is beautiful and easy to use.”
We are very excited to have Luke and Marina on board for the summer.
As stated before, internships have been great for our business as we get access to fantastic, talented people who bring new perspectives and, in some instances, new tech, to the company.
It looks like it’s going to be an excellent summer!
