This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Edit<\/a>edit button in the top header area of the \"Materialsmaterial view page, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively, you can access the \"Edit<\/a>edit popup form via the \"Actions<\/a>actions column menu of the Materials<\/strong> tab at any of the parent asset view pages (e.g. \"Task<\/a>task, \"Project<\/a>project, \"vendor<\/a>vendor), as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

This popup is shown in Figure 3 and is used to edit an existing \"Materials<\/a>material<\/a> for a \"Tasktask<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

Task:<\/th>\r\nThis read-only<\/em> field shows which task this material belongs to.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Name*<\/em><\/sup>:<\/th>\r\nEnter or edit the unique name for this material.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nEnter or edit the description of this material.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Quantity:<\/th>\r\nEnter or edit the quantity of the material required. For example if you need 10 meters of cable then enter 10.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Unit:<\/th>\r\nEnter or edit the unit of measurement for the quantity. In the above example you may enter meters or just m.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Unit price:<\/th>\r\nEnter or edit the cost price per unit measure,for example per meter of cable.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Lead time:<\/th>\r\nEnter of edit how long before the material is required before you need to place an order with the vendor.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Ordered:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if this material has been ordered.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Delivered:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if this material has been delivered.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Archived:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if you would like to assign this material as archived.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Update material<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will update the material with the details that you supplied.\r\n\r\nClick the “Cancel<\/strong>” button if you no longer want to update the material.<\/div>\r\n
