This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Add<\/a>add menu in the top header area of the \"Task<\/a>task view page<\/a>, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively, you can access the \"Add<\/a>add popup form at the bottom of the Materials<\/strong> tab at this same view page, as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

This popup is shown in Figure 3 and is used to add a new\u00a0\"Materials<\/a>material<\/a> for the selected \"Tasktask<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

Figure 3 – Add material form<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThis form has the following fields:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Task:<\/th>\r\nThis read-only<\/em> field shows which task this new material is being added to.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Name*<\/em><\/sup>:<\/th>\r\nEnter a name for this new material here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nEnter a longer description for this new material here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Quantity:<\/th>\r\nEnter the quantity of the material required. For example if you need 10 meters of cable then enter 10.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Unit:<\/th>\r\nEnter the unit of measurement for the quantity. In the above example you may enter meters or just m.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Unit price:<\/th>\r\nEnter the cost price per unit measure, for example per meter of cable.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Lead time:<\/th>\r\nEnter how long before this new material is required before you need to place an order with the \"vendor<\/a>vendor<\/a>.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Vendor:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select a vendor to order this material from.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
(New vendor name):<\/th>\r\nIf you have the permission, you may have selected “Add a new vendor” in the Vendor <\/strong>field above, this field then allows you to enter a name for the new vendor.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Ordered:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if this material has been ordered.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Delivered:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if this material has been delivered.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Add more materials:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if you would like to keep the form open and add more materials to this task once the current material has been created.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nOnce you are happy with your selection click the “Add material<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add a new material with the information that you supplied.\r\n\r\nThe new material can be viewed in the Materials <\/strong>tab asset listing at the parent task’s view page, as shown in Figure 4.\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n
