This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Options<\/a>options menu in the top header area of the task view page, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the \"Delete<\/a>delete popup form\u00a0via the \"Actions<\/a>actions column menu of the Schedule<\/strong> table at any of the parent asset view pages (e.g. \"Contact<\/a>organisation<\/a>, \"Programme<\/a>programme<\/a>, \"Project<\/a>project<\/a>, \"Subproject<\/a>sub-project<\/a>, \"working<\/a>task group<\/a> or \"Change<\/a>change request<\/a>), as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

Parent asset:<\/th>\r\nShows which asset (e.g. project, task group or change request) this task belongs to.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Reference:<\/th>\r\nShows the reference for this task.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Title:<\/th>\r\nShows the title for this task.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nShows the description of this task.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Renumber existing tasks and milestones?:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if you want to “remove” this task from the asset’s numbering and to move up any existing tasks and milestones.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nIf you are sure that you want to delete this task then click the “Delete task<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form.\r\n\r\nWarning<\/em>: This will permanently delete the selected task and any \"Attachments<\/a>attachments or \"Comment<\/a>comments that it contains. Any time that has been logged against this task in a \"Timesheets<\/a>timesheet will be retained but it will lose its context. Consider just archiving the task through editing this task<\/a> instead.\r\n\r\nClick the “Cancel” button if you do not want to delete the task.<\/div>\r\n
