This page is shown in Figure 1 and shows all the information relating to the selected \"working<\/a>task group<\/a>.\r\n

\"task<\/a><\/p>\r\n

Figure 1 – Task group view page<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe \u00a0top header area<\/a> allows you to\u00a0\"Edit<\/a> edit<\/a>, \"Delete<\/a> delete<\/a>, \"Move<\/a>move, \"Copy<\/a>copy or \"Edit<\/a>baseline the task group; or add a\u00a0\u00a0\"working<\/a>sub-group<\/a>,\u00a0\"Task<\/a> task<\/a>, milestone \"Attachments<\/a> attachment<\/a> or\u00a0\"Comment<\/a> comment<\/a> to this task group.\r\n\r\nSome details of the\u00a0task group are displayed in subsections just below the top header area, such as the task group’s location within Psoda, and it’s associated title, progress, effort and cost. The rest of the page is made up of a number of tabs or sections (depending on your selected view):\r\n

\"Task<\/a>\u00a0Advanced estimates<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the tasks that have been added to this task group that are scheduled according to advanced estimates, as shown in Figure 2.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the advanced estimates such as it’s context, reference, start and end dates, the users listed as resources for that estimate, resource total and a breakdown of actual and variance comparisons for time breakdowns.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this advanced estimates table, you can act on individual estimate by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a> the chosen estimate via the edit popup or using inline editing.\r\n\r\n\"advanced<\/a>\r\n

Note that you can customise your table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the advanced estimates table. Here, you can also export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Attachments<\/a>\u00a0Attachments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the attachments<\/a> that have been added to this task group, as shown in Figure 3.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the attachments such as the file’s name, attachment type, view the version and access a download link.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this attachments table, you can act on individual attachments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a>, \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>, \"Move<\/a>moving<\/a> or \"lock<\/a>locking<\/a>\/\"unlock<\/a>unlocking<\/a> the selected attachment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

Here, you can also export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.\r\n\r\nAt the very bottom of this tabbed view, you have the option to add more attachments by utilising the drag and drop functionality to drag the files you wish to upload into the drop box (note that this function works in HTML5 compliant browsers only).\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"chart\"<\/a>\u00a0Charts<\/h4>\r\nInstead of a table view, this tab provides a graphical view of your accumulated baseline vs. actual over time for this task group. Figure 4 below shows an example chart:\"chart<\/a>\r\n

\"Comment<\/a>\u00a0Comments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the comments<\/a> that \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a> have made on this task group, as shown in Figure 5.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the comments such as, the date that this comment was last updated, who created the comment, the comment itself and any associated tags to name a few.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this comments table, you can act on individual comments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a> or \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>\u00a0 the selected comment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

Here, you can also export this comment list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.\r\n\r\nAt the very bottom of this tab, you have the option to Open the comment popup stream<\/strong>.\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"working<\/a>\u00a0Details<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows some additional details on the task group, for example the description, start date, end date, estimate information and forecast information, as shown in Figure 6.\r\n\r\n\"task<\/a>\r\n

Figure 6 – Task group details tab<\/strong><\/p>\r\nSome fields may allow for inline editing although these permissions may be linked to your access rights. If you feel that you should have access to some of these permissions, contact your System Administrator.\r\n

\"gantt\"<\/a>\u00a0GANTT<\/h4>\r\n

This tabbed view shows the GANTT chart shown in Figure 7, generated by the information in your Schedule<\/strong> tab. By default, this table shows the name of the task group, task or milestone and it’s start and end dates.<\/p>\r\n

On the right-most side of the chart there is a breakdown of tasks in a visual format than will span across a monthly, weekly or daily scale (this is setting dependent). The users who are allocated to each asset will have their names written next to this asset’s timeline.<\/p>\r\n

At the very bottom of this tabbed view you are presented with a number of table information formatting options<\/strong> which will adjust the GANTT’s visible period, or scale, or whether it displays more than just task dates.In addition, the\u00a0view tasks & milestones<\/strong> link will navigate to the Schedule tabbed view so that you can expand or contract the work breakdown structure viewed in the GANTT.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"History<\/a>\u00a0History<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows shows some basic history of the task group, as shown in Figure 8.\u00a0 By default, this tab will present you with a number of details about the task group’s history such as the creation date, creation user, last update date and last update user. If the task group has been changed then this section will also show a table of all the changes that has been made, including the date of each change, the field changed, the value before the change and the user who made the change.\"view<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

Note that you can customise your change table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the change table. Here, you can also export this list of changes to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"Report<\/a>\u00a0Reports<\/h4>\r\nThis tabbed view shows a listing of the reports as seen in Figure 9, listing any reports available for this task group.\r\n\r\nFigure 9 shows a portion of this alphabetical listing, and your specific list may vary slightly depending on if your System Administrator has created any new report templates that have been customised to be available to your task group only.\r\n

This listing is unable to be customised, but provides the name of the report and a more detailed description of what information this report is built for and how the report is grouped.<\/p>\r\n

Once you click on a report’s name, the run report form will popup. These popup forms vary depending on the report being run.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"working<\/a> Schedule<\/h4>\r\nThis tabbed view shows the tasks and milestones table as seen in Figure 10, listing any \"working<\/a>sub-groups, \"Task<\/a>tasks and \"Milestones<\/a>milestones that have been defined for this task group.\r\n\r\nBy default, this table includes the reference, title and description of the task, sub-group or milestone, important scheduling information, who the asset is allocated to, along with the available actions that can be taken on the listed asset and any tasks or milestones that have to be completed first.\r\n\r\nThe Actions column<\/strong> of this table provides accessible functions to act on a chosen sub-group, task or milestone. These functions may include \"Edit<\/a>editing, \"Delete<\/a>deleting, \"Move<\/a>moving, adding a new \"Task<\/a>task sub-group, \"add<\/a>task or \"add<\/a>milestone, \"link<\/a>linking a sub-group, task or milestone and adding \"Comment<\/a>comments or \"Attachments<\/a>attachments. The specific actions that are available in this column will depend on the type of the chosen asset.\r\n

Note that at the bottom of this table you can add another \"Task<\/a>sub-group, \"add<\/a>task or \"addmilestone,\"Edit<\/a>edit the table columns to show or hide asset information, or export this information to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n

At the very bottom of this tabbed view you are presented with a number of table information formatting options<\/strong> which will increase\/decrease the information you’re presented with, as well as other options to import task group\/WBS information<\/strong>, view the information\u00a0 in a GANTT format<\/strong> or run a recalculation<\/strong>.\r\nFrom this other options<\/strong> subsection at the bottom of this tabbed view, you may also have access to \"Pass<\/a>mass approve, \"Pass<\/a>mass complete or mass archive tasks.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"Timesheets<\/a>\u00a0Time log<\/h4>\r\n\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing of all of the timesheets<\/a> that have time logged against this task group.\r\n\r\nThis table supports inline editing<\/a>.\r\n\r\n
