This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Project<\/a>project view page<\/a> \"Add<\/a>add menu in the top header area, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the \"Add<\/a>add popup form via the Sub-projects<\/strong> tab at this same view page, as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

Project\/Sub-project:<\/th>\r\nThis read-only<\/em> field shows which project or sub-project you are adding the new sub-project to.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Name*<\/em><\/sup>:<\/th>\r\nThis is where you put the name of the sub-project you want to add, e.g. Leave Application. The name must be unique within your \"Programme<\/a>programme<\/a>, project or sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nYou can add a short description of your sub-project here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Start date:<\/th>\r\nThe start date will be used as the start month for budgets. You can manually enter a date here using any one of the date formats<\/a> or use \"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a> to set the start date for the sub-project in this field. If you have a start date set for the project then all the budget intervals<\/a> will be relative to that date.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Go live date:<\/th>\r\nYou can manually enter a date here using any one of the date formats<\/a> or use\u00a0\"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a> to\u00a0set the expected go live date for the sub-project in this field.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
End date:<\/th>\r\nYou can manually enter a date here using any one of the date formats<\/a> or use\u00a0\"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a> to\u00a0set the expected end date of your sub-project here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Budget intervals:<\/th>\r\nYou can enter number of months your want to cover for budgets on this sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Estimated effort:<\/th>\r\nYou can enter estimated effort (or manpower) required for this sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Estimated cost:<\/th>\r\nYou can enter estimated cost for this sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
RAG Status:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select the Red\/Amber\/Green status for your sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Owner:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select an owner for the sub-project, your \"icon_user\"<\/a>user<\/a> details will be set by default.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Workflow:<\/th>\r\nSelect the applicable \"Workflow<\/a>workflow<\/a> for this sub-project. This field will only be visible if you have access to any sub-project workflows. If you do not want any workflow applied to this budget item then you can select the ‘None’ option.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Add more sub-projects:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if you would like to add another sub-project directly after the current sub-project has been created.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n*<\/em><\/sup>The name field is mandatory, but all others are optional.\r\n\r\nIf you accidentally try to add a new sub-project with the same name as an existing sub-project for your programme, project or sub-project then you will get a warning message.\r\n\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Add sub-project<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add a new sub-project with the details that you supplied.\r\n\r\nThe new sub-project can be viewed in the Sub-projects <\/strong>tab asset listing at the parent project’s view page, as shown in Figure 4. Alternatively you can view the new sub-project from the parent higher level asset’s dashboard<\/strong> in the Programmes & Projects<\/strong> dashlet, as shown in Figure 5.\"\"<\/a>\r\n
