This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Add<\/a>add menu in the\u00a0top header area of the\u00a0selected\u00a0asset<\/a> view page (e.g. \"Contact<\/a>organisation<\/a>, \"Programme<\/a>programme<\/a>, \"Project<\/a>project<\/a>, \"Product<\/a>product<\/a>, \"Risk<\/a>risk<\/a>, \"Task<\/a>task<\/a> or \"Change<\/a>change request<\/a>), as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the \"Add<\/a>add popup form via the Issues<\/strong> tabbed view at any of these view pages, shown in Figure 2.\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n

This popup is shown in Figure 3 and is used to add a new \"issues<\/a>issue<\/a> to the selected asset.<\/p>\r\n

Parent Asset:<\/th>\r\nThis read-only<\/em> field shows which organisation, programme, project, risk or change request you are adding the issue to. The name of this field will vary depending on the asset type of the parent.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Reference*:<\/th>\r\nUse this field to enter a unique reference<\/a> for your issue. If you enter a prefix and end it with one or more zeros, e.g. I_00, then you can click on the \"Reference<\/a>“Find next reference” button to search for the next available reference number with the same prefix and number of digits.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Title*<\/em><\/sup>:<\/th>\r\nThis mandatory field is used to specify a title for the issue.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nYou can add a short description of your issue here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Implications:<\/th>\r\nUse this field to list any implications or advantages gained by implementing this issue.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Priority:<\/th>\r\nEnter a priority for your issue here. This priority can be used when sorting issues in lists.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Origin:<\/th>\r\nUse this field to capture the origin of the change, for example a customer contact. Your name is put in by default.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Impact:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select what level of impact this issue has.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Treatment plan(s):<\/th>\r\nEnter the measures that are to be taken if this issue needs a treatment.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Treatment date:<\/th>\r\nEnter the date the treatment plan is due.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Owner:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select an owner for this issue request from the drop-down list of \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a>. This issue will then appear in the “My stuff” view of the owner.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Workflow:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select the applicable \"Workflow<\/a>workflow<\/a> for this issue. You can define your own workflows if you do not want to use the system default workflow.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Plan Progress:<\/th>\r\nUse this drop-down list to select the plan progress stage that this issue is to be created in.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Resolution Date:<\/th>\r\nEnter the date this issue is to be resolved by using one of the supported date formats<\/a> or through the use of \"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a>.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Add more:<\/th>\r\nSelect this check box if you would like to continue to add more issues to this same asset after the current issue is added.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n*<\/em><\/sup>The title and reference fields are mandatory, but all others are optional.\r\n\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Add issue<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add the new issue with the details that you supplied.\r\n\r\nThe new issue can be viewed in a number of locations, including the Issue<\/strong>s<\/strong> tab at the parent asset’s view page, as shown in Figure 4. Alternatively you can view the new issue from the parent asset’s dashboard<\/strong> in the Open Issues <\/strong>dashlet, as shown in Figure 5.\"\"<\/a>\r\n
