A \"test<\/a>test step result is a copy of a \"test<\/a>test step<\/a> into a \"Test<\/a>test run<\/a> where you can record the results of testing against that test run. Changes to the original test step after the test run is added will not affect the test step result.\r\n\r\nTest step results are automatically added to new \"Test<\/a>test case results based on the original test cases that were selected for the test run.\r\n\r\nA test step result can be in one of a number of states:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Paused<\/strong><\/td>\r\nThe test step result (and the clock) has been paused<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Pass<\/strong><\/td>\r\nThe test step result is completed and was successful<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Conditional Pass<\/strong><\/td>\r\nThe test step result is completed successfully but there are some conditions to the result.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Fail<\/strong><\/td>\r\nThe test step result is completed but failed<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Cancelled<\/strong><\/td>\r\nThe test step is cancelled<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nPsoda automatically keeps track of the time that you spend on testing and the results are displayed on the view test step result page<\/a>.\r\n\r\nYou can \"Attachments<\/a>attach<\/a> any type of document to your test step result for example screen shots or output files from the testing.\r\n\r\nYou can also add short \"Comment<\/a>comments<\/a> on the test step result.<\/div>\r\n
