This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Add<\/a>add menu in the top header area of the \"Project<\/a>project<\/a> or \"Subproject<\/a>sub-project<\/a> view pages, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the \"Add<\/a>add popup form at the bottom of the Test runs<\/strong> tab at these same view pages, as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

This popup is shown in Figure 3 and is used to add a new \"Test<\/a>test run<\/a> within the selected asset<\/a>.<\/p>\r\n

Figure 3 – Add test run form<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThis form has the following fields:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Parent assets:<\/th>\r\nThese read-only<\/em> fields show which \"Contact<\/a>organisation<\/a>, \"Programme<\/a>programme<\/a>, project and (if applicable) sub-project you are creating this new test run for.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Short name*<\/em><\/sup>:<\/th>\r\nEnter a short name for this new test run, e.g. Regression test. This must be unique within the whole project or sub-project.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nEnter a description of this new test run here. You could include any particulars of the test run for example which device the test will be run on.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Status:<\/th>\r\nSelect the initial state of the test run from this drop-down list. Normally you would leave this as New. If you are going to start the test run directly then you could select Started as the initial state.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Test cases:<\/th>\r\nThe rest of the form shows all the \"Test<\/a>test cases<\/a> in the selected asset that can be included in this test run. You can toggle the check boxes to include any test cases you want.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n*<\/em><\/sup>The name field is mandatory, but all others are optional.\r\n\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Add test run<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add a new test run with the details that you supplied.\r\n\r\nThe new test run can be viewed in the Test runs <\/strong>tab asset listing at the parent asset’s view page, as shown in Figure 4.\r\n\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n
