{"id":3611,"date":"2016-09-21T15:27:43","date_gmt":"2016-09-21T03:27:11","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/help.psoda.com\/?page_id=3611"},"modified":"2023-08-23T23:54:56","modified_gmt":"2023-08-23T23:54:56","slug":"a201357","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/help\/a201357\/","title":{"rendered":"Customising tabs and table columns"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='content-column three_fourth'><h4 style=\"margin-top:0;\">Customising your tabs<\/h4>\r\nYou can customise the tabs that are visible on any particular view, e.g. the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/project.svg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"icons_img alignnone size-full wp-image-168\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/project.svg\" alt=\"Project icon\" width=\"23\" height=\"22\" \/><\/a><a href=\"\/help\/a104\">Project view page<\/a>:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Click on the <strong>tabs dropdown<\/strong> icon (far right of the tabs) and then select the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/settings.svg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"icons_img alignnone size-full wp-image-70\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/settings.svg\" alt=\"Edit icon\" width=\"22\" height=\"22\" \/><\/a><strong>Edit tabs<\/strong> option at the bottom of this drop-down menu, as indicated in Figure 1.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/all_tabs_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7684\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/all_tabs_1.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"661\" height=\"259\" \/><\/a>\r\n<strong>Figure 1 &#8211; Access via Other Views tab<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>You&#8217;ll get a <a href=\"\/help\/a7\">popup<\/a> box similar to Figure 2 shown below.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/all_tabs_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7685\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/all_tabs_2.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"750\" height=\"392\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 2 &#8211; Edit tabs popup<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>To make tabs visible select one or more (by holding down the SHIFT and checking the name) in the <strong>Hidden tabs area (left box)<\/strong>. They will now be in the <strong>Selected tabs (right box)<\/strong>.<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To hide tabs uncheck it in the <strong>Hidden tabs (left box)<\/strong> or you can press the X button on the tab in the <strong>Selected tabs (right box)<\/strong>. They will now be in the Hidden tabs (left box).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>The order of the tabs in the Selected tabs area (right box) determines their order on screen. You can change the order by dragging and dropping them in the Selected tabs (right box).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>Click on the &#8220;<strong>Update tabs<\/strong>&#8221; button once you are happy with your changes, otherwise click on the &#8220;<strong>Cancel<\/strong>&#8221; button if you no longer want to edit the visible tabs.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<br>\r\n<h4>Customising your table columns<\/h4>\r\nYou can customise the columns that are visible in your tables:\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>Click on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/settings.svg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"icons_img alignnone size-full wp-image-70\" src=\"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/images\/icons\/darkgrey\/settings.svg\" alt=\"Edit icon\" width=\"22\" height=\"22\" \/><\/a><strong>Edit columns<\/strong> icon at the bottom of any table in Psoda, an example of this is shown in Figure 1.<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_columns_1.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img wp-image-3615 aligncenter\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_columns_1.png\" alt=\"customise tables access\" width=\"295\" height=\"150\" \/><\/a>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 3 &#8211; Access via bottom of table<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n \t<li>You will get a form similar to Figure 17:<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_columns_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img wp-image-3616 aligncenter\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_columns_2.png\" alt=\"edit table columns popup\" width=\"421\" height=\"306\" \/><\/a><strong>Figure 17 &#8211; Edit columns popup<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n        <li>You can make a certain number of left columns to be fixed on the left side of the table. Use the <b>Freeze left columns<\/b> to choose how many frozen left columns you want. The number of columns will stick to the left as you scroll horizontally in this table. This must be a number between 0 and 10 and the number of columns does NOT include the selected checkbox column (the selected column will automatically stick if 1 or more is chosen).<\/li>\r\n \t<li>To make columns visible select one or more (by holding down the SHIFT and checking the name) in the <strong>Hidden columns area (left box)<\/strong>.
