These options do not change the way that the data is stored in the database and will be remembered for the next time that you log in.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_2.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone wp-image-3274\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_2.png\" alt=\"edit user preferences form\" width=\"476\" height=\"373\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 2 &#8211; Edit user preferences form<\/strong><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: left;\">In Figure 2 above, the form has been broken down into two sections:<\/p>\r\n\r\n<table>\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Section 1<\/th>\r\n<td>These are the tabs that you can cycle through to edit each of the user preferences for each associated section.When you navigate to a new tabbed view in this popup, any information entered in Section 2 from the previous tabbed view will be saved. This means you do not need to click on any buttons to save each tab, but can instead click on the <strong>Save<\/strong> button at the bottom of the popup when you wish to save your new user preferences.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Section 2<\/th>\r\n<td>This information will change as you cycle through the tabs shown in Section 2, and the available fields will change accordingly. A breakdown of the field information for each tab is provided below.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n<strong>Tab breakdown<\/strong>\r\n\r\nThe following information provides a breakdown of each of the tabbed views that may be available for you to set the user&#8217;s details under each section.\r\n<h4>Preferences<\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone wp-image-3275\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_3.png\" alt=\"user preferences preferences tab\" width=\"482\" height=\"283\" \/><\/a>\r\n<strong>Figure 3 &#8211; Edit general preferences tab<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThis is the first tab of preferences that you can set for yourself. The<strong> general preferences <\/strong>for your account can be assigned by clicking on the tab indicated in Figure 3 above. Each of the options available to be customised in this tab are described in the following table:\r\n<table summary=\"Tabbed view options summary\">\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Keep me logged in\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like to stop your session being automatically terminated after 15 minutes of inactivity.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong><strong>Freeze table headers and footers<\/strong><\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like to freeze the headers and footers your tables.\r\nNote: this option is particularly useful if you have large tables that require scrolling.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>(Maximum table height)\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>If you have selected in the option above that you would like to\u00a0<strong>freeze table headers and footers<\/strong>, you will be presented with this option that can allow you to assign the table&#8217;s maximum height (as a percentage of the window height).\r\nIf you have more information than can be presented within the maximum table height assigned, a scroll bar will be added to the table.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Navigator width\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Use this option to change the width (in pixels) of the <a href=\"\/help\/a4\">Navigator<\/a> on the left hand side of the page.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Auto-hide navigator\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like to the navigator to auto-hide until you mouse over the navigator, which will make it visible again.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Notification frequency\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down list to select how often you would like to receive email notifications. This will limit the rate of notification emails.\r\nFor example if you select &#8220;Immediately&#8221; then you will receive an email for each individual notification or if you select &#8220;Every 5 minutes&#8221; then Psoda will group all notifications that happened within a 5 minute window into one email.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Notification language\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down menu to select which language you would prefer to receive your emails in.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Email format\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down menu to select whether you would like to receive your emails in HTML or Text format.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Use current page as default\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like the page in the background of this preference popup to be assigned as your default for when you next log in.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Navigate to newly created assets\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like Psoda to automatically navigate into any new assets as they are created.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\"><strong>Reset permissions cache\r\n<\/strong><\/th>\r\n<td>Select this check box if you would like to reset the permissions cache to default settings. This option will only be available if you have the necessary access rights.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h4>Date&amp;Time<\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img wp-image-3276 aligncenter\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_4.png\" alt=\"user preferences date tab\" width=\"460\" height=\"139\" \/><\/a><strong>Figure 4 &#8211; Edit date &amp; time preferences<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe second tab allows you to select your preferred<strong> date and time formats.<\/strong>\r\n<table summary=\"top header area options summary\">\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Timezone<\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down menu to select the timezone that you would like all the date and timestamps displayed in. When you change your <strong>timezone <\/strong>you will have to log out and back in again for it to take effect.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Date format<\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down menu to select the format that you would like dates displayed in. You can select from short formats, 01\/12\/10, through to long formats, 1 December 2010.\r\nThe date format is used in standard report templates to format the output reports to have the same chosen date formatting.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Date and time format<\/th>\r\n<td>Use this drop-down menu to select between a 12 hour and a 24 hour AM\/PM format to display times in Psoda.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n&nbsp;\r\n<h4>Financial performance<\/h4>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_5.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone wp-image-3277\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/edit_userpreferences_5.png\" alt=\"user preferences finance tab\" width=\"428\" height=\"286\" \/><\/a>\r\n<strong>Figure 5 &#8211; Edit financial performance preferences<\/strong><\/p>\r\n\r\n<table summary=\"top header area options summary\">\r\n<tbody>\r\n<tr>\r\n<th scope=\"row\">Calculation month &amp; forecast month<\/th>\r\n<td>There are two options in this group.
