This popup<\/a> form can be accessed via the \"Add<\/a>add menu in the top header area of the view page of the \"Group<\/a>group<\/a> that you wish to add this \"Key<\/a>ACL<\/a> to, as shown in Figure 1. Alternatively you can access the \"Add<\/a>add popup form at the bottom of the ACLs<\/strong> tab at this same view page, as shown in Figure 2.\r\n

Phase 1 – Select asset<\/h4>\r\n

Figure 3 – Add ACL form (1)\r\n<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThis first phase is to select the asset that this ACL relates two. You will see a form with the following fields:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Parent Asset:<\/th>\r\nThis read-only<\/em> field shows which \"Contact<\/a>organisation<\/a> or parent group you are adding this new ACL to.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Asset:<\/th>\r\nUse this tree selector to navigate to and select the asset that you want for this ACL. Click on the \"expand<\/a>expand icons to open each branch of the tree. Click on the name of the asset to select it. The background of the selected asset will change to a light-yellow colour.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nWhen you have selected the required asset, click on the “Next<\/strong>” button. If you have accidentally selected an asset<\/a> that already has an ACL in this group then you will get a warning message.\r\n

Phase 2 – Set access rights<\/h4>\r\n

\"\"<\/a>Figure 4 – Add ACL form (2)<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe form will change and show you the selected group and asset, selected in\u00a0Phase 1<\/strong>, as read-only<\/em> fields at the top. The rest of the form will show a number of tabs for the different areas that you can set access rights for, the number and nature of tabs will depend on the asset this ACL is assigned for.\r\n\r\nFor example if you selected a \"benefit\"<\/a>benefit<\/a> then you may have tabs for \"Attachments<\/a>attachments<\/a>, \"Comment<\/a>comments<\/a>, \"Actions<\/a>actions<\/a> etc.\r\n\r\nEach tab lists the access rights for that particular area that you can enable\/disable for this ACL. For example on the Comments<\/strong> tab you have option to allow users to list comments, view the details of a comment<\/a>, add new comments<\/a>, etc.\r\n\r\nCertain defaults may be set in each tab of this section, and any inheritance from parent groups may also already be checked or unchecked by default.\r\n\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Add ACL<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add a new ACL with the settings that you entered. The members of the parent group of the ACL (and any sub-groups) will get the new access rights the next time that they log into Psoda.\r\n\r\nThe new ACL can be viewed in the ACL<\/strong>s<\/strong> tab at the parent or higher level asset’s view pages, as shown in Figure 5.\r\n\"\"<\/a>\r\n
