This page is shown in Figure 1 and shows all the information relating to the selected \"Test<\/a>test case<\/a>.\r\n\r\n\"test<\/a>\r\n

Figure 1 – Test case view page<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe \u00a0top header area<\/a> allows you to\u00a0\"Edit<\/a> edit<\/a>, \"Delete<\/a> delete<\/a>, \"Move<\/a>move or \"Copy<\/a>copy the test case; or to add a new \"test<\/a>test step, \"Defect<\/a>defect, \"Attachments<\/a> attachment<\/a>, \"Comment<\/a> comment<\/a>, \"Traceability<\/a>source or \"Dependents<\/a>dependent to this test case. In the top header area you may also be presented with the option to \"renumber<\/a>renumber test steps for this test case.\r\n\r\nSome details of the test case are displayed in subsections just below the top header area, such as the test case’s location within Psoda, and it’s title, description, and pre-conditions. In another subsection, you will be presented with information about the test case’s workflow information. From this workflow subsection you may be able to\u00a0\"Request<\/a> request<\/a> or \"Pass<\/a> authorise<\/a> a state transition. The rest of the page is made up of a number of tabs or sections (depending on your selected view):\r\n

\"Attachments<\/a>\u00a0Attachments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the attachments<\/a> that have been added to this test case, as shown in Figure 2.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the attachments such as the file’s name, attachment type, view the version and access a download link.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this attachments table, you can act on individual attachments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a>, \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>, \"Move<\/a>moving<\/a> or \"lock<\/a>locking<\/a>\/\"unlock<\/a>unlocking<\/a> the selected attachment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

Here, you can also export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.\r\n\r\nAt the very bottom of this tabbed view, you have the option to add more attachments by utilising the drag and drop functionality to drag the files you wish to upload into the drop box (note that this function works in HTML5 compliant browsers only).\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"Comment<\/a>\u00a0Comments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the comments<\/a> that \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a> have made on this test case, as shown in Figure 3.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the comments such as, the date that this comment was last updated, who created the comment, the comment itself and any associated tags to name a few.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this comments table, you can act on individual comments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a> or \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>\u00a0 the selected comment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

\"Defect<\/a>\u00a0Defects<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the defects<\/a> that have been logged for this test case, as shown in Figure 4.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the defects such as the defect’s number, type, title, severity, priority, current state, date raised, resolve by date and which user this defect is allocated to, to name a few details.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this defects table, you can act on individual defects by \"Edit<\/a>editing, \"Delete<\/a>deleting or\u00a0 \"Move<\/a>moving the selected defect.\r\n\r\n\"defects<\/a>\r\n

Note that you can customise your table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the defect table. Here, you can also export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Dependents<\/a>\u00a0Dependents<\/h4>\r\nDependents<\/strong> are other assets, for example test steps, that “depends” on this test case i.e. those assets may be affected if the details of this test case should change.\r\n\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the dependents that have been added to this test case, as shown in Figure 5. By default, this table will present you with the dependent’s parent asset<\/a>, the dependent asset, it’s description and status.\r\n\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this dependents table, you can act on individual dependents by \"Edit<\/a>editing or \"Delete<\/a>deleting\u00a0 the selected dependent.\"dependent<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"Test<\/a>\u00a0Details<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows some additional details on the test case such as it’s title, pre-conditions and description, as shown in Figure 6.\r\n\r\n\"test<\/a>\r\n

Figure 6 – Test case details tab<\/strong><\/p>\r\nSome fields may allow for inline editing although these permissions may be linked to your access rights. If you feel that you should have access to some of these permissions, contact your System Administrator.\r\n

\"History<\/a>\u00a0History<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows shows some basic history of the test case, as shown in Figure 7.\u00a0 By default, this tab will present you with a number of details about the test case’s history such as the creation date, creation user, last update date and last update user. If the test case has been changed then this section will also show a table of all the changes that has been made, including the date of each change, the field changed, the value before the change and the user who made the change.\"view<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

Note that you can customise your change table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the change table. Here, you can also export this list of changes to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"Traceability<\/a>\u00a0Sources<\/h4>\r\nSources<\/strong> are other assets that this test case is derived from, i.e. this test case can be affected if any of its sources are changed.\r\n\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the sources that have been added to this test case, as shown in Figure 8. By default, this table will present you with the source’s parent asset<\/a>, the source asset, it’s description and status.\r\n\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this sources table, you can act on individual sources by \"Edit<\/a>editing or \"Delete<\/a>deleting\u00a0 the selected source.\r\n\r\n\"source<\/a>\r\n

\"Test<\/a>\u00a0Test case results<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the test case results that have been captured for this test case, as shown in Figure 9. By default, this table will present you with the test case result’s last update date. reference, title, pre-conditions, description, progress and passrate bars, status and which test run is associated. If you click on the link under the reference<\/strong> column, you will navigate into the selected test case result’s view page.\r\n\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this test case results table, you can act on individual results by \"Edit<\/a>editing or \"Delete<\/a>deleting\u00a0 the selected test case result, or by acting on that result’s workflow.\"test<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"test<\/a>\u00a0Test steps<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the test steps that make up this test case, as shown in Figure 10. By default, this table will present you with the test step’s description, expected outcome, and the number of comments or attachments associated with this test step. If you click on the link under the step<\/strong> column, you will navigate into the selected test step’s view page.\r\n\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this test steps table, you can act on individual test steps by \"Edit<\/a>editing or \"Delete<\/a>deleting\u00a0 the selected test step.\"test<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

Below the state transition timeline table, you will be presented with a visual breakdown of the timeline in a GANTT chart, as shown in Figure 11.<\/p><\/div>\r\n
