{"id":24166,"date":"2023-08-31T04:10:56","date_gmt":"2023-08-31T04:10:56","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/help\/?page_id=24166"},"modified":"2023-09-11T04:50:06","modified_gmt":"2023-09-11T04:50:06","slug":"psoda-forms-filling-out-a-form","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.psoda.com\/help\/psoda-forms-filling-out-a-form\/","title":{"rendered":"Psoda Forms &#8211; filling out a form"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class='content-column three_fourth'>To begin filling out a form, click on the <strong>Start form<\/strong> button from the list of available forms as seen below in Figure 1.\r\n<br>\r\nYou can also view and edit an existing form that the logged in user has created, by clicking on one of the form cards located in the <strong>My forms<\/strong> section.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_startform.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_startform.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 1 &#8211; Psoda Forms start form<\/strong><\/p>\r\nYou will then be redirected to the picked templates form page, If your template has an instruction the first page of the form will show this, otherwise it will show the fields located in the first section. To begin filling out your form click on the <strong>Begin<\/strong> button located at the bottom of the page, as indicated in Figure 2 below.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psoda_forms_begin.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psoda_forms_begin.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 2 &#8211; Psoda Forms begin form<\/strong><\/p>\r\nLocated above all of the fields is the section indicator. This will show you what section you are currently on along with all the other sections of the form. See Figure 3 below highlighting this area.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_section.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_section.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 3 &#8211; Psoda Forms section indicator<\/strong><\/p>\r\nYou can navigate through each section of the page clicking either the <strong>Go back<\/strong> button to navigate back a section, or by clicking the <strong>Next<\/strong> button to navigate forward to the next section. See Figure 4 below highlighting this area.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_navigation.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_navigation.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 4 &#8211; Psoda Forms navigation area<\/strong><\/p>\r\nIf one of your fields has a tooltip added, a <strong>?<\/strong> will be displayed next to the fields title. You can display the tooltip by clicking this button, as shown in Figure 5 below.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_tooltip.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_tooltip.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 5 &#8211; Psoda Forms field tooltip<\/strong><\/p>\r\nYou can exit the form at any time by clicking the <strong>Exit<\/strong> button as shown below in Figure 6.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_exit.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_exit.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 6 &#8211; Psoda Forms exit form<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThis will then display a modal providing two options. Clicking <strong>Discard<\/strong> will exit the form and discard any changes made, clicking <strong>Save<\/strong> will create a new form with all currently filled in fields. If this is an existing form it will update all pre-existing fields. See Figure 7 below indicating this exit option modal.\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_modal.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"ss_img alignnone size-full wp-image-7518\" src=\"\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/psodaforms_modal.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"315\" height=\"72\" \/><\/a><\/p>\r\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Figure 7 &#8211; Psoda Forms exit options<\/strong><\/p>\r\nOnce you are ready to submit your form, you can do this by navigating to the final section of the form. Here you will see the <strong>Submit<\/strong> button as shown below in Figure 8.
