This page is shown in Figure 1 and shows all the information relating to the selected \"Release<\/a>release<\/a>.\r\n\r\n\"release<\/a>\r\n

Figure 1 – Release view page<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe \u00a0top header area<\/a> allows you to\u00a0\"Edit<\/a> edit<\/a> or\u00a0\"Delete<\/a> delete<\/a> the release; or to add a new \"Features<\/a>feature, \"Release<\/a> release note<\/a>, \"Change<\/a>change request, \"issues<\/a>issue, \"Defect<\/a>defect, \"Attachments<\/a>attachment or \"Comment<\/a>comment for this release.\r\n\r\nSome details of the release are displayed in subsections just below the top header area, for example the release’s location within Psoda, it’s description, planned release date and any estimate information, as well as any workflow details if a workflow has been assigned. The rest of the page is made up of a number of tabs or sections (depending on your selected view):\r\n

\"Attachments<\/a> Attachments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the attachments<\/a> that have been added to this release, as shown in Figure 2.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the attachments such as the file’s name, attachment type, view the version and access a download link.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this attachments table, you can act on individual attachments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a>, \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>, \"Move<\/a>moving<\/a> or \"lock<\/a>locking<\/a>\/\"unlock<\/a>unlocking<\/a> the selected attachment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

Here, you can also export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.\r\n\r\nAt the very bottom of this tabbed view, you have the option to add more attachments by utilising the drag and drop functionality to drag the files you wish to upload into the drop box (note that this function works in HTML5 compliant browsers only).\r\n\r\n \r\n

\"Change<\/a>\u00a0Change requests<\/h4>\r\nThis tabbed view provides the change requests table, as shown in Figure 3, listing any change requests that have been added to this release.\r\n\r\nBy default you will be presented with the link to view the change request itself, title, category, description, scheduling information, the user who initiated this request, the owner of the request, it’s current state and any actions or workflow transitions that are available.\r\n\r\nFrom this change request listing, you can utilise any of the functions in the Actions column<\/strong> to act on a specific request. These functions may include \"Edit<\/a>editing, \"Delete<\/a>deleting, \"Move<\/a>moving or adding \"Comment<\/a>comments or \"Attachments<\/a>attachments, or running a \"Report<\/a>report on the chosen change request.\"product<\/a>\r\n

Note that at the bottom of the table you can \"Add<\/a>add more change requests, \"Edit<\/a>edit the table columns to show or hide request information, or export this list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Comment<\/a>\u00a0Comments<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the comments<\/a> that \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a> have made on this release, as shown in Figure 4.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the comments such as, the date that this comment was last updated, who created the comment, the comment itself and any associated tags to name a few.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this comments table, you can act on individual comments by \"Edit<\/a>editing<\/a> or \"Delete<\/a>deleting<\/a>\u00a0 the selected comment.\r\n\r\n\"view<\/a>\r\n

\"Defect<\/a>\u00a0Defects<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the defects<\/a> that have been logged for this release, as shown in Figure 5.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the defects such as the defect’s number, type, title, severity, priority, current state, date raised, resolve by date and which user this defect is allocated to, to name a few details.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this defects table, you can act on individual defects by \"Edit<\/a>editing, \"Delete<\/a>deleting or\u00a0 \"Move<\/a>moving the selected defect.\r\n\r\n\"defects<\/a>\r\n

\"Delete<\/a>\u00a0Deleted assets<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the assets<\/a> that \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a> have deleted or moved from this release, as shown in Figure 6.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the assets such as, the time it was deleted or moved, it’s parent asset (if applicable), what type of asset it was, it’s name and which user acted on it.\r\n

Note that you can customise your table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the tables. Here, you can also export the list to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Features<\/a>\u00a0Features<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the features<\/a> allocated to this release, as shown in Figure 7.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the features such as the it’s context, reference, description, estimate information, priority and it’s current state.\r\n\r\nIf you have set up release pools for this release then the feature table will show additional columns for those resource pools. The headings will show the pool name as well as the size of the pool in mandays. The columns will show the resource estimates set for each feature.\r\nIf the feature will fit into all the resource pools then it is coloured green and the pools are reduced by the corresponding estimates. If a feature does not fit then the pools where it does not fit are highlighted in red and that feature is skipped.\r\n\r\nIf you click on the link beneath the reference<\/strong> column, you will navigate to the selected feature’s view page<\/a>.\r\n\r\n\"features<\/a>\r\n

\"History<\/a>\u00a0History<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows shows some basic history of the release, as shown in Figure 8.\u00a0 By default, this tab will present you with a number of details about the release’s history such as the creation date, creation user, last update date and last update user. If the release has been changed then this section will also show a table of all the changes that has been made, including the date of each change, the field changed, the value before the change and the user who made the change.\"view<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n

Note that you can customise your change table view<\/a> by clicking the \"Edit<\/a>edit button at the bottom of the change table. Here, you can also export this list of changes to \"Excel<\/a>Excel or \"CSV<\/a>CSV files.<\/p>\r\n \r\n

\"issues<\/a>\u00a0Issues<\/h4>\r\nThis tabbed view shows the issues table as seen in Figure 9, listing any issues that have been logged for this release.\u00a0By default, this table provides impact and priority information, plan progress and resolution dates for the issues listed, as well as any actions that can be taken. The workflow column also provides information as to the next workflow transitions available.\r\n\r\nThe Actions column<\/strong> of the issues table provides accessible functions to act on a chosen issue. These functions include \"Edit<\/a>editing, \"escalate<\/a>escalating, \"Delete<\/a>deleting, \"Move<\/a>moving or adding a \"Comment<\/a>comment or \"Attachments<\/a>attachment to that indicator.\"product\r\n

\"Release<\/a>\u00a0Release notes<\/h4>\r\nThis tab shows an asset listing<\/a> of all of the release notes that have been registered for this release, as shown in Figure 10.\u00a0 By default, this table will present you with a number of details about the release notes such as the note’s last update date and description.\r\nFrom the Actions column<\/strong> of this release notes table, you can act on individual notes by \"Edit<\/a>editing or \"Delete<\/a>deleting the selected note.\r\n\r\n\"release<\/a>\r\n\r\n \r\n
