In Figure 3 above, the form has been broken down into three sections:<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Section 1<\/th>\r\nThis section contains a selection of important top fields:\r\nOrganisation:<\/strong> This read-only field shows which organisation you are adding the new programme to.\r\nProgramme*: <\/strong>This is a mandatory field where a unique name for this programme must be entered.\r\nAdd more:<\/strong> Select this check box if you’d like to keep the form open and add more programmes.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Section 2<\/th>\r\nThese are the tabs that you can cycle through to edit each section of the programme.When you navigate to a new tabbed view in this popup, any information entered in Section 3 from the previous tabbed view will be saved. This means you do not need to click on any buttons to save each tab, but can instead click on the Add<\/strong> button at the bottom of the popup when you wish to add your new programme with the set details.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Section 3<\/th>\r\nThis information will change as you cycle through the tabs shown in Section 2, and the available fields will change accordingly. A breakdown of the field information for each tab is provided below.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\nNOTE: If you accidentally try to add a new programme with the same name as an existing programme for your organisation then you will get a warning message.\r\n

Tab breakdown<\/h4>\r\nThe following information provides a breakdown of each of the tabbed views that may be available for you to set the programme’s details under each section.\r\n

Figure 4 – Add programme details tab<\/strong><\/p>\r\nThe details <\/strong>for the programme can be assigned by clicking on the tab indicated in Figure 4 above. Each of the fields available to be customised in this tabbed view are described in the following table:\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
Description:<\/th>\r\nEnter a short description of your programme here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Programme code:<\/th>\r\nEnter a code for your programme here. The code is used as a prefix e.g. for the risk reference<\/a>. For example, if we were to use the code DP_ for a new “demo portfolio” a risks added beneath it will have the reference DP_R_01.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Project reference template:<\/th>\r\n\u00a0Enter the project reference template here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Start date:<\/th>\r\nYou have the option to use \"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a> to enter the date that you wish to set for the start date of the programme here. The start date sets the month from which the budgets apply.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
End date:<\/th>\r\nYou have the option to use \"choose<\/a>calendar control<\/a> to enter the date that you wish to set for the\u00a0expected end date of the programme here.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Budget interval:<\/th>\r\nSet the number of budget intervals (months) you want to track for this programme by using this text field.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Job code prefix:<\/th>\r\nEnter the job code prefix here. This is\u00a0used to auto-generate job codes for tasks within this programme. For example if you set the job code prefix to “ABC_00” then the first task will get a job code of “ABC_01”, then “ABC_02” etc. Leave this field empty if you do not want the job code to be auto-generated.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
RAG Status:<\/th>\r\nSelect the Red\/Amber\/Green status for your programme by choosing an option from this drop-down list.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Manager:<\/th>\r\nSelect a manager for the programme using the drop-down list of \"icon_user\"<\/a>users<\/a> in the organisation.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Owner:<\/th>\r\nSelect an owner for the programme using the drop-down list of\u00a0users<\/a> in the organisation.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Sponsor:<\/th>\r\nSelect a sponsor for the programme using the drop-down list of\u00a0users<\/a> in the organisation. From this list, you can add sponsors as normal users or even suspended users.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n
Workflow:<\/th>\r\nSelect the \"Workflow<\/a>workflow<\/a> to apply to this programme from this drop-down list of available workflows. This field will only be visible if you have workflows for programmes configured.<\/td>\r\n<\/tr>\r\n<\/tbody>\r\n<\/table>\r\n

\"Portfolio<\/a>Portfolios<\/h4>\r\n

This tabbed view presents a list of \"Portfolio<\/a>portfolios<\/a> that this new programme can be grouped under. You may select one or multi-select by holding the CTRL key or the SHIFT key and selecting the name of the portfolio.<\/p>\r\n\r\n

\"Indicators<\/a>Indicators<\/h4>\r\n

This tabbed view presents a drop-down list of portfolios \"Indicators<\/a>indicators<\/a> that can be applied to this programme according to the portfolio it is grouped under. You can select the indicator you want to apply to this programme using this drop-down list.<\/p>\r\nOnce you are happy with your entries click the “Add programme<\/strong>” button at the bottom of the form. This will add a new programme with the details that you supplied.\r\n\r\nThe new programme can be viewed in a number of locations, including the Programme & Project<\/strong>s<\/strong> tab at the parent asset’s view page, as shown in Figure 7. Alternatively you can view the new programme from the parent asset’s dashboard<\/strong> in the Programme & Projects<\/strong> dashlet, as shown in Figure 8.\"\"<\/a>\r\n
