Bruce is Chief Everything Officer at Psoda and an award winning ICT leader. After starting life as a rocket scientist he created Psoda and has been taking the product to the world for over 10 years.

What was going to be another important technology expo for Psoda in Asia has turned into something even bigger…

As featured in the New Zealand CIO Magazine, we’re one of three New Zealand companies to exhibit at the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) International ICT Expo in April with the help and support of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise.

While that is already an exciting prospect, we now have even more reason to look forward to the event.

We’ve been chosen by the event organisers as one of just 10 exhibitors to be showcased out of the 600 companies from across the Asia Pacific region exhibiting at the expo, which is expected to attract over 30,500 visitors from 13 to 16 April. We’re also the first New Zealand company to be given such an honour.

Plus, according to the organisers, Psoda is also the only cloud-based PPM software company at the event.

All of this means the event will be an excellent opportunity for us to shine the spotlight both on Psoda and innovation in the wider New Zealand ICT community.

New Zealand is growing some amazing ICT and cloud companies and events like this allows us to grow the global awareness of what Kiwi tech firms have to offer.

Robert Yiu, Business Development Manager of the Hong Kong branch of New Zealand Trade and Enterprise, agrees having a Kiwi company selected as a featured exhibitor by the expo organisers is recognition of the country’s ICT innovation.

He adds that while New Zealand is well known in Asia for its food and beverage and natural products, its ICT industry is not widely recognised in this region.

“The fact that a New Zealand company was selected as a featured exhibitor is an endorsement that Kiwi firms may be good enough to compete in a very mature and highly competitive market like Hong Kong,” says Robert.

The HKTDC Expo is also an ideal opportunity for Psoda to explore expansion across Asia Pacific and we’ll be looking for channel partners in Hong Kong to help extend its reach across the region.

Our goal at the event is to both attract customers from Hong Kong and China, as well as channel partners who can help us grow in the wider Asia Pacific region.

This isn’t the first time Psoda will be flying the flag for Kiwi innovation at a large ICT event in Asia.

In November last year, we were the only New Zealand company to exhibit at the inaugural Cloud Expo Asia in Singapore.
